For this project, I was tasked with designing the visual style of the widgets for a new client-facing dashboard. The main challenge with this project was that the data being displayed was from custom forms created by our clients and they would be able to custom build widgets to display their desired data, labels, and chart type. This meant the design needed to work well with varied data, multiple chart types and layouts.
Because of the potential for a single widget to contain many segments or data points, as well as for the overall dashboard to contain many widgets, I kept the design clean and modern, with pops of color. Widgets were interactive, with hovers to show expanded label names and additional information.
